Important application forms for voting in Maharashtra

In order to be able to vote you need to be at least 18 years of age as of 1st January of the year in which the electoral roll has been prepared or has been revised. In order to be enrolled as a voter in the electoral roll in your constituency, you need to fill in form 6 (see link below). This form you should submit to the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of your Assembly Constituency.

  • To include your name in the electoral roll: Form- 6 (get it here)
  • To object to the inclusion of a name in the electoral roll (deletion of name): Form- 7 (get it here)
  • To correct an entry in the existing electoral roll, such as modification of name: Form- 8 (get it here)
  • For transposition of entry in electoral roll, meaning change of address: Form- 8A (get it here)
  • For claim for inclusion of name in the electoral roll for a Graduates' Constituency: Form 18 (get it here)
  • For claim for inclusion of name in the electoral roll for a Teachers' Constituency: Form 19 (get it here)
  • Application of registration of name in the electoral roll by overseas voter: Form - 6A (get it here)
