Summary revision program of Maharashtra Electoral Roll October-November 2015

The Chief Electoral Officer, Maharashtra State has issued the notification about the special summary revision program of photo electoral roll. Citizens who have complete 18 years of age as on 1^st January 2016 are eligible for enrolment as an elector. If you have not yet enrolled yourself as an elector, here is the opportunity to do so. All you need to do is fill up Form No.6 during this revision program.

Schedule

• Draft publication of electoral rolls: 8^th October 2015
• Period of filing claims and objections: 8^th October 2015 to 7^th November 2015
• Special Campaign Dates: 11^th and 18^th October 2015
• Final publication of electoral rolls: 16^th January 2015

Forms required to be filled up

• Form 6: Application for inclusion of name in the electoral roll.
• Form 6A: Application for inclusion of name in the electoral roll by an overseas elector.
• Form 7: Application for objecting the inclusion of or seeking deletion of the name in the electoral roll.
• Form 8: Application for correction to particulars entered in the electoral roll.
• Form 8A: Application for transposition of entry in the electoral roll.

• Applications and objections in the prescribed forms will be accepted at
• Voters’ Help Centres
• Additional Voters’ Help Centres set up at designated polling stations
• You should visit the Office of the Collector and District Election Officer
