The Fire Brigade not only fights fires & rescues people, but also focuses on promoting fire safety. Their Helpline Number is 101. Their vehicles include a Jeep for the Fire Compliance Officer, an ambulance and a quick response vehicle, which has a team comprising of the driver, an Officer, two firemen and 500 litres of water. Other than the fire engines with ladders and hose pipes, there is the massive Bronto Skylift which can reach up to 21 storeys of a building. Fire Brigade Contingent
Other than the requisite protective equipment, Fire Brigade personnel are having rescue tools, including axes (in image above), steel cutters and saws, ropes, etc.
