Summary revision program of Maharashtra Electoral Roll October-November 2015

The Chief Electoral Officer, Maharashtra State has issued the notification about the special summary revision program of photo electoral roll. Citizens who have complete 18 years of age as on 1st January 2016 are eligible for enrolment as an elector. If you have not yet enrolled yourself as an elector, here is the opportunity to do so. All you need to do is fill up Form No.6 during this revision program.

Schedule
  • Draft publication of electoral rolls: 8th October 2015
  • Period of filing claims and objections: 8th October 2015 to 7th November 2015
  • Special Campaign Dates: 11th and 18th October 2015
  • Final publication of electoral rolls: 16th January 2015
Forms required to be filled up
  • Form 6: Application for inclusion of name in the electoral roll.
  • Form 6A: Application for inclusion of name in the electoral roll by an overseas elector.
  • Form 7: Application for objecting the inclusion of or seeking deletion of the name in the electoral roll.
  • Form 8: Application for correction to particulars entered in the electoral roll.
  • Form 8A: Application for transposition of entry in the electoral roll.

  • Additional Voters’ Help Centres set up at designated polling stations
  • You should visit the Office of the Collector and District Election Officer
