The Chief Electoral Officer, Maharashtra State has issued the notification about the special summary revision program of photo electoral roll. Those who have completed 18 years of age as on 1st January 2016 are eligible to be enrolled to vote. If you have not yet enrolled yourself as an elector, here is the opportunity to do so. All you need to do is fill up Form No.6 during this revision program.

Where to find collection bins for plastic items disposal in Mumbai

All kinds of plastic bags, irrespective of thickness, will be banned totally within the next two months. Non-woven polypropylene bags, plastic sheets to wrap or store produces, pouches to store liquid and all one-time use disposable items made up of plastic & thermocol has been banned by the Govt. of Maharashtra. So by 23rd June 2018, you will need to stop using these items and also get rid of them if you have them in your home or office.

Mumbai Fire Brigade at Republic Day Parade 2018

The Fire Brigade not only fights fires & rescues people, but also focuses on promoting fire safety. Their Helpline Number is 101. Their vehicles include a Jeep for the Fire Compliance Officer, an ambulance and a quick response vehicle, which has a team comprising of the driver, an Officer, two firemen and 500 litres of water. Other than the fire engines with ladders and hose pipes, there is the massive Bronto Skylift which can reach up to 21 storeys of a building. Krishi Vibhag Maharashtra Float at Republic Day Parade Mumbai 2018

Krishi Vibhag is the Agriculture Department of the Government of Maharashtra. Established primarily to help those in rural Maharashtra to achieve better agricultural productivity, the Department has launched various schemes over the years.

These include production of quality seeds, nala bunding work  to increase well and ground water level, development of hybrid varieties of different crops, etc. The schemes are implemented through Agricultural Officers and Agricultural Assistants in the rural areas of Maharashtra.
