Mumbai Fire Brigade at Republic Day Parade 2018

The Fire Brigade not only fights fires & rescues people, but also focuses on promoting fire safety. Their Helpline Number is 101. Their vehicles include a Jeep for the Fire Compliance Officer, an ambulance and a quick response vehicle, which has a team comprising of the driver, an Officer, two firemen and 500 litres of water. Other than the fire engines with ladders and hose pipes, there is the massive Bronto Skylift which can reach up to 21 storeys of a building. Other than the requisite protective equipment, Fire Brigade personnel are having rescue tools, including axes (in image above), steel cutters and saws, ropes, etc.

Other than Water Trucks and Ladder Trucks, the Fire Brigade has a Bronto Skylift (image below) to put out fires in high rise buildings and rescue people.
