COVID-19 Vaccination Special Drive for women, teachers, students September 2021

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is conducting a special vaccination drive for women, teachers, students, and beneficiaries who are due for the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The drive will be conducted at BMC and Government COVID-19 vaccination centers in Mumbai. On-the-spot entry will be permitted, without the need to register and book online in advance.

Online applications open for 2021 CIDCO Housing Scheme for COVID Warriors and Uniformed Personnel

The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd. (CIDCO) has announced a special housing scheme of 4,488 Tenements exclusively for COVID Warriors and Uniformed Personnel who are working in, and are Domicile of, the State of Maharastra. The homes are located in Navi Mumbai, at Taloja, Kalamboli, Kharghar, Ghansoli, and Dronagiri.

The lottery scheme has been launched today, on 15th August 2021 at 12 noon, and the application process will close on 8th September 2021.

How to register for Covid-19 vaccination facility for bedridden citizens in Maharashtra

The Public Health Department, Government of Maharashtra has announced that a special facility will be arranged for bedridden citizens under the Covid-19 vaccination campaign. 

Accordingly, relatives and caretakers of these citizens should inform the Department by sending the relevant details as mentioned below via email so that a proper plan can be implemented for providing the vaccine doses.

Western Railway special trains Bandra Terminus to and from Jamnagar, Bhavnagar July 2021

Western Railway has announced the schedule of the special trains that will be operated between Bandra Terminus, Mumbai, and Jamnagar and Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The to and fro trains between these stations are superfast special trains. While the trains to Jamnagar will run thrice a week, those to Bhavnagar will run twice a week. All are reserved trains for which confirmed tickets will be required.
