How to register for Covid-19 vaccination facility for bedridden citizens in Maharashtra

The Public Health Department, Government of Maharashtra has announced that a special facility will be arranged for bedridden citizens under the Covid-19 vaccination campaign. 

Accordingly, relatives and caretakers of these citizens should inform the Department by sending the relevant details as mentioned below via email so that a proper plan can be implemented for providing the vaccine doses.

Who is eligible for the facility

This special facility is available to all citizens of Maharashtra who are bedridden in their homes and their condition is not likely to improve within the next six months, and who wish to get vaccinated against Covid-19. 

How to avail of the facility

Details should be sent via email to: covidvacc2bedridden@gmail.com

Information to be sent

• The name of the bedridden person
• The address of the bedridden person
• The contact number of the bedridden person

Supporting documents

The following documents should be enclosed with the email-

1. Medical certificate of a treating Physician that states the bedridden condition and eligibility of the patient for the facility.
2. Informed consent of the person's relatives/caretakers.
